DeskCycle Review 2016

Whether we are working at the office or at the comfort of our homes, the DeskCycle is a great exercise tool to keep in shape. Our heart is arguably one of the most important organs in the body. The hearts health has a huge impact on our overall health. Meaning that if our heart is not healthy, we are not healthy!

We must keep the heart healthy!

Pros

  • Sturdy – does  not slide on the floor
  • Quiet so it won’t annoy coworkers or people around you
  • Very smooth pedalling
  • Doesn’t take up much space
  • Allows you to workout while you continue to work
  • Comes with two tracking monitors (tracks calories burned and time)
  • Can strap it to your chair

Cons

  • It is decently heavy – older people may have troubles moving it
  • If you are on a chair that swivels – body might end up rotating a lot when pedalling

Would I Recommend?

This is a great device and I personally had no issues with it. It allows me to be very productive and get a workout in at the same time! Any time that I am feeling lazy or inactive I just slide my feet over and start pedalling. I keep mine at home under my desk because that is where I work from most of the time.

Yes, I would definitely recommend the DeskCycle.

If you are a person who struggles to find time to workout after a long day at the office or just can’t seem to find the time –  the DeskCycle might be of some benefit to you. I count this as my cardio workout, you can actually break quite a sweat if you go at it. Cardio increases blood flow to the brain, and increases our overall cognitive health. So as you are pedalling away your brain is actually performing better!

I really like this recommendation. I know that there are times when I’m wanting to do something active but I have reading to do for class and I don’t have enough time to go outside and run or to go to the gym, so this would be a cool and chill way to get some exercise in during the day. Thanks for the recommendation.
